Above: Scenes from the AMG film: "I WAS A TEENAGE BUM" This film is from a delightful story originally entitled "The Pool" and submitted by reader Del Mc Bride of Olympia Washington. Walter Bowman and his newfound Buddy Kelly Mangum decide to go for a swim in a nearby lake while they are cycling along a country road. While e splashing about, Joe Leitel (a teen-age tramp) wakes up from his afternoon siesta in the deep grasses about the they are t lake. Feeling rather hungry, he ambles over to the motorcycle and filches some food from the sadle bag. Just as he is stuffing his mouth and pockets, the swimmers discover him and take the food away from him. They ridicule the disgusting condition he has let himself get into and he looks at them shamefacedly. Then they decree a "punishment": he must be bathed and shaved. At the sight of soap Joe is overcome by a paralyzing fear and the boys are able to do a fine job of restoring him to a civilized state. They are quite impressed at what a fine fellow he makes when cleaned up, and they admire his fine physique. He then takes from his wallet a folded magazine cover showing that he was once a coverman for, Physique Pictorial magazine. Walt and Kelly invite Joe to share their lunch and they all become fine friends. PRICES : 16mm $16. 8mm $11. 4x5 prints of stills above: 35¢ each. 3 pgs catalogs: 454.

ABOVE: Motorcycle Riders. Letters from Readers indicate that a good many physically culture minded boys like the sport of motorcycle riding. At this printing we have prepared 12 pgs of duals on motorcycles in catalog WC13 ($1, 20 for the 12 pgo,) and 10 pgs of solos on motorcycles ($1) and we expect to add many more pages to both catalogs. We would appreciate suggestions for themes and pose ideas involving motorcyclists. (But please spare us from another repetition of a theme where two cyclists get caught in the rain and go into a barn to dry off--we already have 68 1/2 versions already) Catalogs available from AMG 1834 W 11th st L. A, 6, Calif. A movie called "The Cop and the Hotrodder" was almost ready for the shooting stage when Butch Smith above who was to play the cop ran off with the cycle boots and hasnt been heard from since. Another movie nearly ready to roll may be entitled "Strip Poker" or possibly "The Cheater" (which do you think is best?) It will portray some cyclists playing poker when a wise guy comes on the scene and wins all their money and then their clothes also. But they discover he has cards up his sleeve, inside his boots and other convenient spots and he is appropriately punished. Why d y dont you jot down some ideas or even parts of ideas you think would help us. of athletic which can reviewed our

LOS ANGELES PHYSIQUE FIRMS NO LONGER IN BUSINESS: Ken Photos, Hombre, Ted Kenton. It is our understand. ing that these people gave up their physique business because they felt they could not make sales enough to justify the long hrs. and hard work, expenses of advertising etc necessary to maintain successful operation. We understand some NY firms have closed down for other reasons but we no not have factual enough information to report at this time.
